For the last three years, we are indulging ourselves in natural farming and taking our baby steps towards growing our own food. As consumers, we seek out the healthiest options to feed ourselves and our families.
We have used natural methods to nurture our farmland, and in the past three years, have worked on restoring our degraded dryland soil by rainwater harvesting through trenches and digging a well. We have planted saplings of over 350 local varieties of plants and trees, and are doing our best to nurture them. Our soil is our future, and its health is linked to our and our community's well being.
Farming not only sustains us, but also teaches us important values in life, like hard work, problem solving, and self-sufficiency.
